Been quite busy recently trying to get re-organized with my new desk and the rebirth of my PC battlestation. It's still kicking and now updated with a new GTX 960 and a fresh install of Windows 10. Here are some speed sculpts I managed to squeeze in during my lunch breaks.
The stars aligned just right this evening and I had time to freesculpt a female (nurse) bust. Unfortunately, I lost the Undo History in ZBrush so I couldn't record the process of things but it took about 2-3 hours to sculpt, and all I could salvage was a screenshot and YouTube turntable video.
I've finally finished an old character project, including the high res sculpt, "low" poly model, rig, textures, and renders for Meridian. It's really, really late, I know, but things IRL like work and a new addition to the family have many ways to pull me away from personal projects like these. It took nearly all I had to give it the final push to completion, despite the many lessons learned (of what NOT to do!), so the feeling of satisfaction is like no other. I hope you like it, and look forward to more!
So it's been ages since I did this video for a Female body study - a while later, I was inspired by some sci-fi female soldier painting I caught online, and I began my task of creating my own design of a sci-fi soldier/scout of my own. Unfortunately, this project has been through too many delays and interruptions to count, due to real-life situations. Thankfully, this has become one character I refuse to give up on, so I've managed to squeeze bits of time over the past few weeks to finish her.
Lightly armoured, and geared for mobility by wearing a few heavy pads and leathers and fabrics for her uniform. I went with a short-haired brunette, and armed her with just a Desert Eagle pistol.
